Hey, anti-capitalists: try this out for size: https://t.co/00w42jahPj— Dr Jordan B Peterson (@jordanbpeterson) October 23, 2017
The fact is that people *choose* to be employees for others. No one is stopping them from creating worker-owned collectives.— First Amendment (@FirstAmendmenHN) October 25, 2017
Yeah he’s really good at forming he coherent arguments https://t.co/8vXRwnYsZI— First Amendment (@FirstAmendmenHN) October 25, 2017
I thought PJ enjoyed good faith dialectic but I was wrong. I did nothing to warrant being blocked while he constantly engaged in ad hominem. pic.twitter.com/pMkCxm7rnU— First Amendment (@FirstAmendmenHN) October 25, 2017
I decided to take a glimpse into the smoking crater that was The Zeitgeist Movment and stumbled on this train wreck of a thread. Gee, can't imagine why TZM failed with this kind of leadership. RIP. https://t.co/0VfWQcgyEx— The Goodest Jim Jesus 🤘🏴💰🍕 (@JimJesus) February 23, 2019
People ask me why I think Jordan B. Peterson is not only dumb but profoundly dangerous in his popularity. Here's a reason why.— Peter Joseph (@ZeitgeistFilm) March 23, 2019
Anyone that thinks there's no sociological component to socioeconomic inequality, hence realizing its relevance, is beyond lost and socially illiterate. pic.twitter.com/UBhSuNxzFD
You probably should take the whole quote in context instead of trying to paint him as an idiot to push your belief system.— Christiaan Stoudt (@cstoudt) March 23, 2019
No link was provided. The issue will never be solved on a society level and needs to be addressed on a personal psychology and base understanding that we all are equal. It’s overall a mindset problem. Just like the poor mindset of degrading people helps nothing.— Christiaan Stoudt (@cstoudt) March 23, 2019
We create the world we live in. That is what personal responsibility is about. Once that is owned the world reflects it. Society is a reflection of individuals and not if it’s own creation. It starts with one person. That is the point. People choose what game and IF they play.— Christiaan Stoudt (@cstoudt) March 24, 2019
Another positive thing, for me, is that listening to Peterson flesh out his argument confirmed that you mischaracterized his stance. The relevant bit starts roughly around 1:07 and goes on for several minutes.— PDX Yang Gang 🧢 (@PDXYangGang) March 23, 2019
Instead of debating his losing position, PJ ad-hominems with "I block morons". A good indication why people such as this are not fit to ever get near the reigns of power. They disappear their detractors. You pretend to care about people. But the people think like me.— Medium Digital (@mediumdigi) March 23, 2019
That's not hard to work out where JP is coming from, it depends if you want to knock down a straw man or not.— Jeremy (@JelliedSoup) March 24, 2019
He's focused on the individual as the source of the initial change rather than collective policy.
I disagree, he promotes a Kantian like perspective, where taking responsibility for yourself, family, community etc is paramount. Legislating at the state level is the wrong approach. That said I do believe some state initiatives are required, but implementing these is tricky.— Jeremy (@JelliedSoup) March 24, 2019
So you're looking for collectivist approaches without govt/state support?— Jeremy (@JelliedSoup) March 24, 2019
That your ready to throw the lack of understanding accusation without backing anything you say is sadly indicative of the calibre of criticisms directed at Peterson. Stomping your feet proves your petulance, nothing else.— Jeremy (@JelliedSoup) March 24, 2019
So by asking you to demonstrate YOUR view that collective sociological changes are not state driven, you mention that you've written books, lectured, and then ask me to read books on PUBLIC (hint: state) health and that I do homework to validate YOUR point?— Jeremy (@JelliedSoup) March 24, 2019
Never heard of you Peter Joseph.— Voice Of Insane (@insane_voice) April 27, 2019
You are a modern day Jim Jones.
I pity your followers.
Your deconstruction of Petersen is a modern apology for communism.
It has NEVER worked & never will.
I see it sells your books & films. Very capitalist of you...
You set it up I’ll be there
