Social media, in current form, is little more than an outlet of cathartic outrage, with no evidence it does anything positive.
It’s a prison riot anger release where everyone vents their bullshit, thinking they’re doing something.

I deeply question that the dynamics of this medium (or any other s.m. platform) has a quantitative effect on social progress.
