there has been no flooding in any of the buildings at the center and its residents are safe. The only damage to mention was to one of the structure's 15-foot aluminum awnings. Due to its remote location,

From what I understand the cost of installing solar at the Venus Research Centre is very significant. Also much of the regenerated area would have to be cleared in order to utilise an efficient solar system.

I agree. TVP center's incompetence is showing itself more and more. Sad. They should have installed solar panels, solar heaters and wind power generators etc long long time ago, but they have only excuses.
