Makes sense. The podcast team is discussing it and will rebrand it.

Wasn’t it supposed to be a group of independent thinkers wanting to work together to promote the work and try and make the world better?
— Renee Cunningham (@laemilyrenee) September 12, 2021
Symbols are important to express shared goals and values. If you don't believe in them, stop writting.
— AdvertisetheGiftEconomy (@tombezauciel) September 12, 2021
Yes. I think it’s funny you think Peter isn’t being supportive. The way these people have advertised is incorrect. They are part of TZM- they do not speak for all of TZM.
— Renee Cunningham (@laemilyrenee) September 13, 2021
Again, Peter, do you really want us to stop using the TZM and name so that the movement dies?
— AdvertisetheGiftEconomy (@tombezauciel) September 13, 2021
More people don't nees leaders but understand that someone has to organize and catalize activity. Good followers are also leaders when such organizing is needed.
— AdvertisetheGiftEconomy (@tombezauciel) September 13, 2021
Organizing is absolutely essential in any movement. Yes.
— Brandon Gallagher (@Brandon03469362) September 13, 2021
Your ignorance when it comes to social movements is tragic.
— AdvertisetheGiftEconomy (@tombezauciel) September 13, 2021
I understand you don't want to be dragged into drama and complications of large social movements. We respect that and love you for all you have done and still do. But do it right, step down properly and fully and let us carry the torch now.
— AdvertisetheGiftEconomy (@tombezauciel) September 13, 2021
No, Peter doesn't want us to use the logo or name for anything other than Zdays. How then are we supposed to be a movement? Visibility is necessary and that isn't possible without using the name and logo.
— AdvertisetheGiftEconomy (@tombezauciel) September 14, 2021
Peter doesn't let anyone use the TZM logo or name other than to organize Zdays. How are we supposed to raise awareness about us and invite people to our meetings if we can't speak our name?
— AdvertisetheGiftEconomy (@tombezauciel) September 14, 2021
We are creating splitoffs also. But TZM is an umbrella of values and goals that brings us together. If we can't use it keeps us apart.
— AdvertisetheGiftEconomy (@tombezauciel) September 16, 2021
Millions of people know and support TZM, creating something new is starting from scratch. Who has the communicative power of those films?
— AdvertisetheGiftEconomy (@tombezauciel) September 16, 2021
Let TZM free. No official TZM, that was a psyop trap in the firsr place. Social movements are simpler than that. The principals are stated and the symbols are released free to use to represent those principals.
— AdvertisetheGiftEconomy (@tombezauciel) September 13, 2021
If you used the name and logo that would one thing, but you don't!!! Free it up. Let it fly.
— AdvertisetheGiftEconomy (@tombezauciel) September 14, 2021
He doesn't let us use the logo and name. How are we supposed to speak about ourselves to rally support, to invite others to meeting, to represent our principals and goals if we can't use the logo or name?
— AdvertisetheGiftEconomy (@tombezauciel) September 14, 2021
Well he told us angrily to remove the logo and name from a podcastbwe just started. And publicly scolded us. Sure, after trying to resolve it I now say: disobey, he openly sais he isn't our leader anyway. But most TZMers are much more obediant than I am.
— AdvertisetheGiftEconomy (@tombezauciel) September 16, 2021
Specifically: the only people holding international OPEN TZM meetings for the past 3 years, inviting others, bringing chapters together, organizing and growing a community, have started a podcast. Peter doesn't allow us to use the TZM logo or name anywhere for the podcast.
— AdvertisetheGiftEconomy (@tombezauciel) September 15, 2021
Peter should just write a simple and clear list of principals that define TZM (not a book) and let people use the term and logo to represent adherence to those principals. Will some people misuse it or misunderstand or smear TZM, sure, just as is done with every other author.
